Mobile-based Data Collection Project Inventory

Global Pulse is an innovation initiative of the UN Secretary-General, harnessing today’s new world of digital data and real-time analytics to gain a better understanding of changes in human well-being.

Through Global Pulse the UN is leading and coordinating work in a number of key areas including collaborative hypothesis testing (peer review) through Hunch Works; as well as foundational technology platforms which in theory could have a range of collaborative uses.

By our count there are around 124 mobile based data collection projects (mostly pilot initiatives), and inventory can be found here.
